Adele 今年發行的新專輯 <21> 中翻唱了一曲 The Cure 的 Lovesong，剛聽到時覺得又驚又喜，翻得很有味道。但是多聽了幾次之後到覺得 Adele 把這首歌唱得太悲了，似乎是在對過去的戀人傾訴滿腔的眷戀。在 youtube 找到這支 live 的影片，她現場的唱功還是很棒，情感刻畫得很細膩。

在 The Cure 的原曲中，雖然先行的 keyboard 和 bass 就已經將整首曲子披上一股冷冽的氛圍，但隨後清亮的吉他聲線與 Robert Smith 較為堅定，像是宣示一般的語氣 (雖然還是一樣懶洋洋的很迷人，好矛盾啊...) 讓人覺得這首歌還比較正面一點，畢竟這首歌可是 Robert 送給未婚妻的求愛小禮物呀~

另外看了 wiki 才發現翻唱過這首 Lovesong 的團體或歌手還真不少!! Death Cab For Cutie 的翻唱中規中矩，也蠻符合他們的風格，但就比較沒有新意。

愛搞怪的 Tori Amos 也翻唱過 Lovesong，一架鋼琴再加上她的好歌喉便能賦予歌曲新的靈魂，以一種惹人憐愛的姿態呢喃著戀人絮語。

最後最讓我驚豔的是也是愛團之一的 A Perfect Circle 居然也翻玩過 Lovesong!! 為什麼說是翻玩呢? 因為他們將 Lovesong 與 Ozzy 的 Diary of a Madman 混搭在一塊兒，簡直就是異教徒的激烈告白嘛，太讚了，太有型了!!
